Thomas "Buddy" Robert Bagwell

Mr. Thomas Robert Bagwell, age 85, of McDonough, GA passed away March 18, 2015. Mr. Bagwell was born in Cobb County, the son of the late Nellie May Hayes Bagwell and Forrest Buren Bagwell. He was also preceded in death by several siblings. Mr. Bagwell enjoyed spending time with family and friends and raising chow dogs. He was known to many as the handy man who could fix anything. He retired from Kraft Foods with 37 years of service. Survivors are his wife of 52 years, Mary Young Bagwell; daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Bob Fenner of Talking Rock, GA and Charlene and Robert Bagwell of Villa Rica, GA; grandchildren, Glenn and Katie Walker of Dacula and Jon and Kellie Stewart of Dacula; 7 great grandchildren, Amanda, Kinley, Zachary, Camden, Blakely, Ashley and Stephen; brother, Raymond Bagwell and Margaret of Covington, sister, Martha Slappey of Conyers, and brother-in-law, Johnny Wells of Zebulon. Funeral service for Mr. Bagwell will be Saturday, March 21, 2015 – 2:00 PM in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Statham and Rev. Dan McKay officiating. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6 – 8:00 PM.
