William Eugene Brannon

William Eugene Brannon, age 77, of Jackson, Georgia passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2022. Bill was born in Atlanta, Georgia on July 20, 1944 to the late Horace and Frances Brannon. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Brenda O'Neal. Bill enjoyed fishing on High Falls Lake with his brother Bobby in the pontoon. He also enjoyed hunting at the camp with family and friends. Bill enjoyed working on cars, watching NASCAR and hosting Super Bowl parties. He owned Brannon Automotive in Riverdale for over forty years and he was a member of the Riverdale Jaycees. Mr. Brannon is survived by his wife of 57 years, Carolyn, sons Chuck (DeLynne) Brannon of McDonough and Mark (Christy) Brannon of Jenkinsburg, GA, grandchildren, Jonathan (Jordan) Brannon, Gabi Brannon and McKinley Brannon. Also, great-granddaughters, Brooklyn and Blake. Two brothers, Bobby Brannon and Don (Doris) Brannon, both of Jackson, GA and several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends from 5:00pm - 7:00pm on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at Haisten Funeral Home in McDonough, Georgia. Private interment services will be held.
