William Franklin Forrester

William Franklin Forrester, age 88, passed away on July 23rd, 2024. He was born to the late Walter and Willie Forrester in Tennessee on August 14th, 1935. He is preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Emma Forrester.

William served in the United States Army where he was stationed in New Orleans and there he met his wife, Emma. They would go on to become a family and add on their two daughters, Jane and Julie. His daughters would later make him a proud grandfather and an even prouder great grandfather. He was a truck driver for many years and took pride in being a Mason. William was a man who never met a stranger and had a big heart for the people in his life. His legacy will never be forgotten by those whose lives he has impacted.

William is survived by his daughters Jane (Dennis) Satterfield and Julie Chambers; grandchildren Lisa (Adam) Findley, Cody Chambers, Casey (Ashley) Chambers, Cole Chambers; great grandchildren Noah Chambers, Ella Chambers, Emma Chambers and his significant other, Tammy Lewis. He will be missed dearly.

A memorial service will be held at Haisten Funerals and Cremations Saturday, August 10th, 2024 at 2:00 PM. A reception will be held at The Hathaway's located 201 Limbaugh Valley Dr, McDonough, GA 30252.
