William "Bill" Grant Hileman Jr age 75 passed away suddenly on January 13th, 2025 in Locust Grove, Georgia. Bill was born in Miami, Florida but spent most of his life in Georgia. He graduated from high school and shortly thereafter enlisted in the Army. He had a long career in the Army and served our country proudly. When he retired from the Army, he left with many commendations and the rank of Sergeant Major. He then went to work for Snapper. He truly enjoyed the people he worked with and remained friends with them into his retirement.
Bill was a devoted husband to Julie (Barabas) Hileman of 21 years. He was a good friend, brother and Uncle. He is survived by his wife, two sisters, and his nieces and nephews.
Bill was a collector of sports memorabilia, coins, guns and Civil War art. He so loved his pets and the pleasure they brought him. In retirement he enjoyed cooking and trying numerous new recipes.He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
His full military honors burial will be held at 12:30pm on June 12, 2025 at the Georgia National Cemetery, 1080 Scott Hudgens Drive,Canton, Georgia 30114
