William R. Marsden

Mr. William “Bill” R. Marsden, age 82, of Locust Grove, Georgia passed away June 11, 2015. Mr. Marsden was born in Lawrence, MA the son of the late Madge and William Marsden. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Audrey Crumble. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, photography, golf, jazz music and his dogs, “Jackie & Buddy” and his cat, “Abby”. Survivors are his wife of 43 years, Diana Marsden of Locust Grove; son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Terri Marsden of Maylene, AL; stepson, Bennie McCombs of Las Vegas; grandchildren, Craig Marsden and Brigette Fry and her husband, Michael. A celebration of life service, will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2015 – 12:00 Noon in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Pastor William Bert Neal officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service from 11:00 – 12:00.
