Mr. William Elmer Polston, Jr., age 74 of McDonough, Georgia passed away February 10, 2018. He was born in Jefferson County, Kentucky to the late William Elmer Polston, Sr. and Bessie Atherton Polston. Bill faithfully served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He retired after 31 years with AT&T and was a member of Sharon Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Susan Polston; children, Darin (Debbie) Polston of Lafayette, IN, Simeon Polston of McDonough, Bryon (Bobbie) Polston of Covington, Shelly (Chad) Polston-Hall of Smyrna; grandchildren, William Trevor Polston, Allison (Chase) Polston, Caleb Polston, Carly Polston, Nathan Hall and Tamra Polston; sisters, Irene, Martha and Geraldine.
