William "Tyler" Smith, age 33, of Locust Grove, Georgia, entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior on June 19, 2026. Born on September 12, 1992, in Atlanta, Georgia, Tyler lived a life rooted in love, faith, and devotion to those closest to him. Above all else, he was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Hannah, and a loving father to his precious two-year-old daughter, Addison. His greatest joy was his family, and there was never a doubt that his girls were the center of his world.
Tyler was a passionate fan of the Georgia Bulldogs and never missed an opportunity to cheer them on. He loved spending time with his friends, sharing laughter, making memories, and bringing joy to everyone around him. He was truly blessed with a wide circle of family and friends who loved him deeply, and his kindness, humor, and generous spirit left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
More than anything, Tyler was a God-fearing man whose faith continued to grow throughout his life. He often spoke of his desire to become a "fisher of men" hoping to lead those he loved to know Jesus. His faith was sincere, and he found comfort and strength in God's Word. Two of the Bible passages that were especially meaningful to him were Psalm 3:7 and Isaiah 57:1–2.
Tyler is survived by his loving wife, Hannah Smith; his cherished daughter, Addison Smith; his mother, Donna Sykes; his father, Billy Smith; his sister, Shelby Smith; his brother, Jacob Bigley; his sister, Abigail Sykes; his brother, Stephen Sykes; his mother in law, Donna Phillips; and numerous aunts, uncles, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.
Though Tyler's time on earth was far too short, the love he gave and the faith he shared will continue to live on through those who knew him.
"Arise, O Lord! Save me, O my God!" — Psalm 3:7
"The righteous perish, and no one takes it to heart... they enter into peace; they rest in their beds, each one who walked in his upright way." — Isaiah 57:1–2
Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in God's promise that we will see him again. "Well done, good and faithful servant." May Tyler rest in eternal peace, embraced by the love of our Savior.
Tyler will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
