Andres was born on November 25, 1944, to Andres Salinas, Sr. and Ninfa (Trevino) Salinas. He was a longtime resident of McGregor, Texas. He married the love of his life, Carmen Flores on August 11, 1967, in Sinton, Texas. He worked for West View Manor and Zion Lutheran Church for 41 years in McGregor, Texas. Andres enjoyed fishing and spending time outdoors.
He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Yolanda Guiterrez, brother, Michael Salinas, Carlos Salinas and sisters, Ramona Villarreal, Paula Garcia, Olivia Chapa and Frances Guzman.
Survivors include his wife, Carmen Salinas of McGregor, daughter, Andrea Murillo of Austin, and Andres Salinas, III of McGregor.
