

Barbara Ruckman of Waco died Thursday afternoon, September 23, 2010, at the age of 65. Private graveside services and interment will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, September 28, 2010, at McGregor Cemetery under the direction of Cole Funeral Home, 1113 West Fifth Street, McGregor with Rev. Ivan Ker officiating. Public viewing will commence Monday morning with a formal visitation from 6 to 8 P.M.
Mrs. Ruckman was born November 7, 1944, in Waco, Texas, the daughter of the late Melvin Foust and Dorothy Faye (Fisk) Flickinger where she attended La Vega Schools. Much of her life was devoted to helping others through the health care industry. For fifteen years, Providence Home Health employed her as a nursing assistant. She enjoyed fishing and being with her family and grandchildren who affectionately called her “Grannie B”.
Survivors include her husband Don Yedlosky; two sons, Steven Ruckman and wife Teresa of Houston, Ricky Ruckman and wife Nadejda of St. Petersberg, FL; one daughter, Angela Ann Ruckman of Sebring, FL; one brother, Melvin Flickinger and wife Margaret of San Antonio; two sisters, Mary Ann Mullen of Waco, Janice Locke and husband Charles of Austin and eight grandchildren.
