Billie Joe Fowler

Billie “Bill” Joe Fowler, age 86, a native of Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, July. 30, 2025 in Cedar Park, Texas. Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 4, 2025, at Eagle Springs Cemetery in Moody, Texas with Reverend William Sterling officiating.

Bill was born on November 17, 1938, to William Roy and Mildred (Gresham) Fowler in Ozark, Arkansas. He was a longtime resident of Arkansas. He graduated from Ozark High School in 1956. Bill married the love of his life, Linda Gwatney, on November 15, 1957, in North Little Rock Arkansas. They celebrated over 50 years of marriage together. He worked as a Hvac Technician for many years. Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping, and most of all, traveling.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Linda Fowler, son, Michael Fowler, sister, Gladys Keller.

Survivors include his son, Brad Fowler and wife, LeeAnn of Sherwood, Arkansas; grandchildren: Bethany Townsend and husband, Parsons, Ryan Fowler and wife, Julie, Aaron Fowler and wife, Savana, and Linda Fowler; 6 great-grandchildren: Caleb Fowler, Macy Fowler, Ainsley Townsend, Hudson Townsend, Azura Fowler, and Aaron Fowler, Jr., and his beloved dog, Red.
