Bonnie Massey Watson

Bonnie (Massey) Watson, age 85, passed away Monday, July 20, 2015 in Temple, Texas. Family will receive friends at Cole Chapel in Moody from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, July 24, 2015. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Cole Chapel in Moody with Dr. Tom Henderson officiating. Interment will follow in Moody Cemetery.

Bonnie was born November 9, 1929 in Cameron, Texas to Eugene Davis and Clara (Hill) Massey. She was a longtime resident of Moody and a member of Willow Grove Baptist Church in Moody. Bonnie retired from American Desk after 25 years. She loved gardening and watching birds in her yard.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Clara Massey; husband, Tom Franklin Watson; sons, Tommy Watson and Ronnie Watson; brother, Benny Massey, great-grandchild, Celest Powell.

Bonnie leaves behind her sons, Terry Lee Watson and wife, Theresa of The Grove, Texas and Ricky Gene Watson and wife, JoBeth (Bitsy) of Temple. Texas; grandchildren: Marlena Watson, Danielle Watson, Jacob Watson and wife, Amanda, Shanon Landry, Aubrie Powell, Tommy Watson; great-grandchildren: Ajax Watson, Alexzander Whisenant, Anna Whisenant, Antany Whisenant, Cierra Powell and Rhiannon; brother, Joe Bob Massey and wife, Diana of Troy, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews.
