Christian Thomas Ross was born on February 8, 2001 in Waco, Texas and passed away on September 6, 2020 in Temple, Texas. He was brought into his forever family when he and his brother were adopted in 2005, by Gary Ross. Christian attended most of his school years in Bruceville-Eddy and graduated high school in May 2019.

Christian loved his family and his big brother, Tyler. He had a special bond with his two cousins, Maggie and Jennie. Growing up he loved playing football and basketball and would spend hours playing catch with anyone that had the arm endurance to keep up with him. He was also a talented entertainer. From a young age, he sang with the family band and captured everyone’s attention with his exuberant voice, his beautiful smile, fun loving personality, and great sense of humor. As he got older, his love for music continued and he wrote many songs and recorded several albums.

His loving grandmother, Patricia Ross of Troy, preceded him in death. He is survived by his father, Gary Ross of Bruceville; brother, Tyler Ross of Las Vegas, Nevada; uncle and aunt, Tony and Jill Ross of Troy; cousins, Maggie and Jennie Ross of Troy; grandfather, Tommy Ross of Troy; his longtime girlfriend, Jill Wennermark; and many other relatives and friends.

A private celebration of life will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 13, 2020, at Cole Funeral Home in McGregor, Texas, with Pastor Robyn Ford Officiating.

May your sweet soul Rest In Peace. You sure are loved here. You are going to be missed more then you know but I’m going to make sure that someone in my house each day speaks your name aloud. We will make sure Corbin doesn’t forget you I’m sure you hear his little “I love yous” he sends up daily. He just sent his little “nite nite Christian” up to you. I know you will watch over us and Knowing you are our guardian angel turns my frown upside down. Tyler I’m so sorry baby he was your little right hand man growing up. I know your hurting too and please know I love you too and I wish I seen you more

Gary and Tyler,
My heart goes out to you, there are people in our lives that just touch us in a special way, even though it’s been many years since we have seen each other or had any contact what so ever, you guys are very special! You touched my heart and my prayers and thoughts are with you. No words are adequate. So, so, so, sorry for your loss. May our Heavenly Father wrap you in his arms and surround you with his love and peace at this time!

Christian was really talented. I’m not as close to him as some may be but i grew up with him and his brother and i have always supported his music for years, since he started. I would always hype him up even when he wouldn’t be to sure of himself. We’d talk from time to time, Christian was a good soul and a good person. I had the biggest hopes for him to just blow up and become the artist he’d always say he wanted to be. I’ll miss you little dude, fly high and watch over your family.

My favorite memory of Christian is the night we walked all the way around the lake at Sammons CC. He wasn't used to going on such a long hike, but he hung in there like a champ. Such a sweet guy! All my love to Gary and Tyler. xoxo

I remember when Christian was in some of the same classes as me when I attended BEHS. We had a great time telling jokes, pulling pranks, and also listen to him tell everyone how he was going into the music business. Christian showed everyone that having a positive attitude not only at school but anywhere else makes people enjoy the time your sharing with them. I enjoy listening to your music 🎶 and wish that you could still be here with us. I'm gonna miss you buddy!! I wanna send my condolences and prayers to your family and wish that I could be there to see you one last time to say goodbye. I just want you to know that we'll still be thinking about you everyday and know that the good times you've shared with everyone will be remembered.

I rember Christian, me, Horatio, and Alyssa foust always being in Saturday school and just non stop talking. Christian would try to persuade me and her to go to his concerts and we would be say maybe the next one cause we were constantly having to show up to Saturday school or something. I remember this particular Saturday where it’s was only the four of us in GCS and we were watching horror movies with the teacher and Christian and Horatio thought it would be a good time to tell the story of the haunted quarter that kept showing up out of nowhere and him slowly walking out of the room asking if we were okay or if he needed to be worried about me . I’m gonna miss him a lot and I’m going to talk to him as if he were still here to keep him updated with my life. I wish I could be at the funreal but I understand it’s a private funeral but he will always and forever live in my heart and mind and will always be my Saturday’s school buddy. When I know he’s been layed to rest I will go out there and sit beside him and talk because I counted him as my best friend and I would like to think he saw me as a good friend. May he Rest In Peace

When I first started at BE high, Christian was always adamant on making sure I was walked to classes in my first week. He knew what it felt like to be that new kid and the nerves that come with it. We ended up becoming friends and hanging out here and there. He was always so kind hearted and made sure you felt listened to and cared for.
