Conrado Lopez Sepeda

Mr. Conrado Lopez Sepeda, Sr., 71, of Crosbyton, passed away Monday, July 27, 2020. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at Cole Funeral Home, with Pastor Jessie Guererro officiating. Interment will follow in McGregor Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time on Tuesday, August 4, 2020, at the funeral home.

Conrado was born on November 13, 1948 to Teresa and Jose Lopez Sepeda, in Mathis, Texas. He was a longtime resident of Crosbyton, Texas. Conrado was a Pentecostal by faith. He married the love of his life, Emma Ramirez on August 16, 1971, in Waco and they had 49 years together. He worked as a blue print welder in the building industry. Conrado proudly served in the United States Army, and was a member of the American Legion and the VFW. He loved fishing, hunting, camping, being outdoors, spending time with his family, and he took great pleasure in being with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Steve Covarrubio; 4 brothers; and 3 sisters.

Survivors include his loving wife, Emma Sepeda of Crosbyton; daughters, Teresa Valdez and husband, Valentino, of McGregor, Belinda Gonzales and husband, Freddy, of McGregor, Mary Esther Silva and husband, Joe, of Snyder, and Amanda Patterson of Lubbock; son, Conrad Sepeda, Jr. of Crosbyton; grandchildren, Cyrena Gonzales, Jessica Mendez, Vanessa Mendez, and Rachel Suarez, all of McGregor, and grandson, Steven Silva, of Snyder; 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Olga Ramirez of McGregor; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to give special thanks to nephew, Jose Gonzales, and provider Cassie Arias for the loving care given to Mr. Conrado Sepeda.

My favorite memory is just knowing he was my daddy he was not perfect but he tried his best to serve God I can't explain our bond but the good lord gave me the privilege to see him off.
