Mrs. Jones, 
I miss you dearly. You were such an amazing person! The world needs more people like you! You were the one who taught me how to speak English and for that I will always be grateful. I was so fortunate to be taught by you. I always felt like you were my adopted grandmother and I will cherish all the memories. May you rest in peace!

Mrs. Cora Jones was very special to me as I know she was to many others.  I am very sorry for her family's loss of mother, grandmother, aunt, and sister.  I am sorry to have missed the funeral, but want the family to know that they are in my prayers.  

All the children in Moody can thank my friend Cora Lee that they can read. She knew how to do it. Many times I heard her reading Pug to the little ones. Always will be in my heart.

I am so very sorry I didn't get to make it to your mom's funeral .I have been so sick I couldn't breath I proubly caught a bug at the hospital .Tommy has been in hospital with congested heart failure he is doing a little better but still gets very weak .my prayers go out to you all your mother was a very special lady .please also give my condolance to lula jo .my prayers are with you all

Ms Cora raised three of the sweetest daughters around.  You could feel her warmth and kindness through her children. I know that she will be sorely missed .

Not a specific memory, just lots of "great" memories growing up in Moody with Jenna & Helen, staying at each other's houses. We had great parents. So sorry to hear of her passing. My prayers are with you all.

Mrs. Jones was one of my favorite customers. I was amazed by her positive attitude, strength, and kindness. She lived a long fullfilling life and will be missed!

Few gave such love to everyone the way Cora Lee did. She saw in me something I didn’t even know I had, and I’m grateful for her. I teach special ed in large part to try and give others what she gave me! So many incredible memories. 

My heart and prayers goes out to Cora Lee’s family in your time of sorrow. She will be deeply missed.


Cora Lee loved the children in Moody. She was always helping with the children. Thank you for caring so much for our community. You will be greatly missed.

Such a amazing woman, my favorite school teacher and the person who introduced me to the  Laura Ingalls Wilder book series. She will be missed by so many, Moody won’t be the same. Thought and prayers for the whole family. 



I always remember Mrs. Jones as bein so so very very Sweet. She went to one of the youth camps we had years ago but even though she was still one of , actually, the more mature ladies there she was so energetic and such a Great inspiration to all the youth as well as the rest of us there. She Is a Very Awesome Lady and touched so many lives in so many wonderful ways. There is no doubt she is setting at the throne of GOD lookin down on us. She will always be on our hearts and in our minds. To the rest of the family your are for sure on our hearts and in our prayers for peace and comfort. She was and is Totally Awesome and We all Love her and remember her and her Love so very much. Thank you so Very Much Mrs. Jones for all your Love for others.
