I will always remember Cowboy coming over and sharing our fried chicken. He loved my chicken. I think he knew every old TV show there was,and all the older country singers. He was always welcome in our home. He grew up with my kids.

I love you my friend. I miss you already. Thank you for a lifetime of memories. God surely smiled on my soul the day we became neighbors. How was I to know that you would become my best friend in life. I can't imagine not having the blessing of knowing you through the years. I will think of you when I hear Johnny Cash sing, watch a John Wayne movie, or I am sitting in a rocking chair. I will write stories about you...I promise. I love you with a pure love as you did me. Thank you for waiting for me to tell you goodbye...I will never forget how it felt to have my hand on your heart as you took your last breath. YOU were one of my greatest gifts in life. I will honor your memory. Enjoy heaven...for your presence will surely make it a sweeter place . Until we meet again.....so long my friend.

God blessed all that knew Dale, He was a kind and gentle man. Dale always had a smile and a kind word. God needed another cowboy on His range, and picked a good one. May his cattle be fat, his range lush and grassy, and his trails without thorns. God bless you Cowboy. Ride Home.
