
Gail Brumley of Gatesville passed away Thursday morning, August 8, 2013, at the age of 60. Graveside services and interment will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, August 12, 2013, at McGregor Cemetery under the direction of Cole Funeral Home, 1113 West Fifth Street, McGregor with Don Bohne officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 8 P.M. Sunday at Cole Funeral Home.
Mrs. Brumley was born August 30, 1952, in Homerville, Georgia where she attended school. In 1967, she moved to Texas and has resided in McGregor, Oglesby and Gatesville areas. On July 28, 1976, she married Douglas Blake Brumley in Waco.
Throughout her life, she has enjoyed bird watching, reading, flower and vegetable gardening, cooking, fishing and relaxing on the lake and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Preceding her in death was her father, Edward Thomas Musgrove; a brother, Jackie Allen Musgrove; a sister, Janet Darline Musgrove.
Survivors include her mother, Stella Musgrove of Waco; her husband of thirty-seven years, Douglas Brumley; two sons, Robert Leo Chouquette of Waco, Douglas Jay Brumley of Gatesville; a daughter, Donna Ann Brumley Shier and husband Michael of Leroy; a brother, Edward Thomas Musgrove and wife Annette of Waco; four sisters, Deborah L. Sheppard and husband Frank, Barbara Diane Holly, Alice Lynn Musgrove all of Waco, Dorothy E. Macedo and husband Alfredo of McGregor and six grandchildren.
