

She was born on April 2, 1956 in Yorktown to Manuel and Mary Guerra. After high school, she began a long and dedicated career as a beautician in Central Texas. Gloria was also a loving and caring mother and doting grandmother. Her most prized possessions in life were her children and grandchildren. She will be remembered for her unwavering kindness, her infectious laugh, and her ability to be strong during any challenge or obstacle. She had a special gift for making everyone feel welcome and loved. Beyond her family, Gloria’s best friend was her golden retriever DJ. She enjoyed having her morning coffee while playing fetch with him. He was also known to join her while tending to her plants or checking the mail.
She is survived by her children, Marty (Elizabeth) Garcia and Andy (Kelly) Garcia, her beloved grandchildren, Bella Garcia, McKenzie Garcia, Emma Garcia, Ethan Garcia, Zoey Randolph, Addison Randolph and Carter Randolph; and her siblings, John Guerra, Martha Dominguez and Mike Guerra. She was preceded in death by her parents, Manuel and Mary Guerra, and her sisters, Irene and Janie Guerra.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Arbor of Hope of Temple in her name ,a cause she cared about deeply.
