Harold Joe Sullivan, 69, of McGregor passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2021. A graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 15, 2021 at the McGregor Cemetery, with the Reverend Virginia Jackson officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, May 14, 2021 at Cole Funeral Home in McGregor, Texas.
Harold was born on May 25, 1951 to Sam Williams and Lillie (Hunt) Williams in McGregor, Texas. Harold graduated from McGregor High School and was a longtime resident of McGregor. Harold served
in the United States Army during the Vietnam War from 1971 to 1979. He enjoyed fishing and was meticulous in the work he did in his yard. Harold especially loved being with his family, most of all his grandchildren. He was a member of Roberson Chapel in McGregor.
Preceding Harold in death were parents, Sam and Lillie Williams; wife, Chloe L. Sullivan; brothers, Butch Reese, and Eli Sullivan.
Survivors include daughter, Tanya Robley and husband, Ray, of South Carolina; son, Kenji Sullivan and wife, Monica, of McGregor; grandchildren, Arika, Nevante, Seth, James, D’Asiah, Imari, Tyree, Kenji II, Zion, Keamarion, Kealiya, great grandson, Kameron; brothers, James Sullivan and wife, Valerie, Bobby Reese; sisters, Lucy Johnson, Joyce Simmons, Rosie Jones, and Earl Melvin and husband, Bruce.
