James A. Cook Jr.

Mr. James Alfred Cook, Jr., 95 of Eddy, Texas passed away on Sunday, July 20, 2025, in Waco, Texas. A graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at Eddy Cemetery in Eddy, Texas. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July. 25, 2025 at Cole Funeral Home in McGregor, Texas.

James was born on February 16, 1930, to James Alfred Cook, Sr., and Alma Ruth Isom Cook in Eddy, Texas. He graduated from Bruceville-Eddy High School in 1948. James was a longtime resident of Falls County. He worked for many years as a farmer. James enjoyed spending time outdoor and especially spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, James Alfred, Sr., and Alma Ruth Cook; sister, Dorothy Ruth Anderson.

Survivors include his daughters, Rita Gail Tucker and husband, Charles of Eddy, Pam Combs and husband, Gary of Eddy, Lisa Mays and husband, Dennis of Eddy, and Paula Eberspacher and husband, Ralph of Midland; 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
