

Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at McGregor Cemetery.
The family will greet visitors 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at Cole Funeral Home.
Harlan was born February 23, 1935 in Valley Mills, Texas to Reba and Henry Hinton. He served in the Army for 5 years. Harlan loved to play dominos; he went to Oglesby every day to play with his friends. His family meant the world to him and they will miss him dearly.
You would always find him watching wrestling and had better be sure you didn’t get in front of the TV when it was on. Harlan loved children and was father to many. He was one of a kind and will be truly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, and 1 sister.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Billie, of the home; children, Doug Hinton, of McGregor, Gayle Campos and husband Eswell, of Moody, Stephanie Englutt and husband Dustin, of McGregor; grandchildren, Julianne Campos, of Moody, Kirk Hinton and James Hinton, both of Lacy Lakeview, Matthew Englutt, Stelyn Englutt and Riley Walker; four siblings; sister-in-law, Oma Jackson, and a host of other relatives.
Harlan was also known as Uncle Bob.
