Jenny L Hillier, 83, was born on December 27, 1942, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to George and Alberta (Bode) Eastman, and passed away on October 4, 2026. A woman of steady strength and enduring grace, Jenny met life with resilience, a tireless work ethic, and a welcome sense of humor that could lighten even ordinary days. She was deeply cherished, and her presence will be profoundly missed.
For many years, Jenny built a life defined by honest work and perseverance. Beginning in 1966, she worked rewinding electric motors, a trade that reflected her diligence and determination, and she continued working until retiring at the age of 70. Her constancy and resolve were evident in the way she showed up—day after day—with capability, pride, and quiet endurance.
Jenny made her home in Moody, Texas. She found satisfaction in working in her yard, but the truest center of her life was always her family—most especially her children and grandchildren, who remained her greatest joy and deepest devotion. In the love she gave so freely, and in the laughter she shared along the way, Jenny’s legacy will continue to live on.
Jenny was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Hillier. Survivors include her children, Bob Roth, Carrie Tatum, Ronda Kimbrow and Larry Hillier; step children, Bruce Hillier and Patrice Hillier; grandchildren, Jeremy, Jennifer, Kari, Bobbie and Kevin; and great grandchildren, Audrey and Helen.
A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 pm on October 9, 2026, at Waco Memorial Park, 6626 IH 35 South, Robinson, Texas 76706.
The family would like to thank the caring and compassionate staff at Mercy House Living Springs for making her feel loved.
