I remember Mrs. Morgan as an excellent teacher. I moved to back to Belton in the 4th grade
She was the first teacher of color I had ever encountered. She taught me color was just color and what is inside is more important. She was a great inspiration.

Mrs Morgan was an excellent teacher. I was one of her students at Tyler. I have such fond memories of her. I had many family issues when I had her for a teacher. I also found out much later in life that I had severe anxiety. Mrs Morgan would find me in her classroom at lunch and talk to me to calm me down. She was amazing and she cared about her students as if they were her own children. I will never forget her. Rest in peace Mrs Morgan

So sorry to hear of Mrs. Morgan’s passing. Definitely one that I remember well, from my days at Tyler. Those eyes! Like a mother, she would make those eyes seem larger than life when students might have been misbehaving... Only an observation, of course😊. I was blessed, as were many others, to have been one of her students. Blessings, peace & comfort to her entire family. ❤️🙏🏻 The Pates

I was taught in Tyler Elementary as well. I remember looking up at her . And she was so tall. And I remember her long beautiful nails. She was an awesome teacher. Sweet lady. But firm when she needed to be. God Bless you ma’am.

If one ever wonders what the definition of an excellent teacher would be they would find Mrs. Morgan’s picture right there! She was an excellent teacher!! She was stern and did any and everything to ensure all her students learn. Her nails helped her get everyone’s attention and she wasn’t scared to use them on the board! I was unaware she was still nearby the Bell County area, saddened she is gone. GOD’s blessings to her family!

She was my teacher at Tyler

Jimmie and I worked together at Tyler Elementary and Central Elementary teaching 4th graders. She was such a blessing to me as I begin teaching. We shared so many laughs and great memories through our teaching years together. I missed her dearly when she retired. She always shared with us how special her family was to her. My deepest condolences to her family!
