Jo Marie Patrick Alton

Jo Marie Alton, 80, passed away Monday, June 6, 2016, in Temple Texas. Funeral services will be Thursday, June 9, 2:00 p.m. at The First Assembly of God, Moody. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 8, 6:00-8:00 p.m., Cole Chapel, Moody.

Jo Marie was born April 11, 1936 to Raymond and Athaline (Robinson) Patrick, in Eagle Spring Community, Coryell County, Texas. She was a longtime resident of Moody, and a member of First Assembly of God. Jo Marie was a food service manager for Moody ISD for 23 years.

Mrs. Alton was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Ray Alton; granddaughter, Heather Alton; and father, Raymond Patrick.

Jo Marie leaves behind her sons, Gary Alton and wife, Beth, and Mike Alton and wife, Bonnie, Moody; daughter, Amy Washburn and husband, Wendell, Moody; grandchildren, Jared Alton, Lacey Flynn, Garrett Alton, Grace Washburn, Joseph Washburn, Josh Washburn; great-grandchildren, Cole Bryan Alton, Rachel Elizabeth Alton, Cooper Michael Flynn, Kooper McCaig, Bailey Mae McCaig, Adalynn June Alton, Stonie Brooke Flynn, Jaden Blaine Washburn, Lane Rhyder Washburn, and Wade Owen Washburn; mother, Athaline Patrick, Temple; brothers, Bobby Wayne Patrick and wife, Rikki, Temple, Gene Raymond Patrick and Wife, Beverly, Temple; sisters, Jeanette Craddock and husband, Pat, Corsicana, Charleen Dowell, Moody, Patsy Ruth Hatter and husband, Charles, Copperas Cove, Carol Ann Haas and husband, James, Moody, and Deborah Rennels and husband, Tom, Troy; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
