Juanda Evelyn Sorrells

Juanda was born on May 21, 1931, to C. A. and Mattie Kelley Casey in Bluff Dale, Texas. She was raised in McGregor, Texas, and graduated from McGregor High School. Juanda was a longtime resident of Waco, and a faithful member of Chalk Bluff Baptist Church. She was a homemaker, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her pride and joy was her family, especially her granddaughter, Mattie. She enjoyed planting flowers, cooking, shopping at garage sales with her family and caring for her four legged fur babies.

She is preceded in death by her parents, beloved son, David Allen Sorrells, sister and brother.

Survivors include her daughter, Lisa Anne Moreno and husband, Ernie, granddaughter, Mattie Anne Moreno, great-grandchildren, Macie Anne Moreno, and Samuel David Hardin Moreno all of Waco and extended family members as well.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to your favorite charity or Chalk Bluff Baptist Church.
