June Yeager

Mary June Yeager, 87, of McGregor, passed away peacefully June 14th, 2021at Providence Hospice Place in Waco, Texas. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 17, 2021 in McGregor Cemetery with Mr. Scott Cummings officiating.

June was born February 13, 1934 in Leon Junction, Texas to Herman and Daisy Cummings. She attended McGregor schools and returned to school at the age of 37, finishing at the top of her class. June worked at various doctors’ clinics, nursing homes, and private care.

June was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Daisy Cummings; husband, Franklin Yeager; brothers, Joe Ben Cummings and Jack Cummings; sisters, Billy Sullins and Bobby Hoffman.

Survivors include her sons, Mark Yeager and wife, Pam, of McGregor, Don and wife, Deanna, of Hewitt; grandchildren, Don Yeager, Jr. of McGregor, Heath Yeager and wife, Melissa, of Aquilla, and Lindsey White and husband, Eric; of Robinson; and eight great-grandchildren.
