Linda Lightfoot

Linda attended Moody schools and, on April 10, 1964, she married Clayton Lightfoot in Moody. Throughout her life, she was known for a generous spirit and a thoughtful heart—qualities felt most deeply by those who had the privilege of being part of her family and circle of friends.

Linda devoted 40 years of service to Scott and White, a steady and meaningful career that reflected her reliability and care for others.

She found joy in the simple, lasting comforts of life: cooking, shopping, and, most of all, time with her grandkids—moments that became treasured memories for the family she loved so well.

Linda is survived by her three children: Robyn Skaggs and husband, Brad; Barry Lightfoot and wife, Mary; and Barton Lightfoot and wife, Dovie; her sister, Paulette Richardson and husband, Sonny; her grandchildren, Calder Lightfoot, Hunter Skaggs, Blake Lightfoot, Tyler Hebbe, Ricky Siler, Brock Ramsey, Brett Ramsey, Chassity Hanzlicek, and her great-grandchildren, Landri Skaggs, Saylor Skaggs, Whitlee Lightfoot, Buster Lightfoot, Madison Hebbe, Alayna Hebbe, and Leona Ramsey.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her brother, Jackie Goodwin, her sisters, Betty Pomerenke and Juanita Lightfoot, and her grandson, Heston Skaggs.

Visitation will be held at Cole Funeral Home, 1113 West 5th Street, McGregor, Texas 76657, on September 8, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
