Lou Keeling

Evelyn Lou Keeling, 86, of Gholson passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2020 at West Rest Haven in West, TX. A private service will be held in Missouri. Lou was born in Fox, AR, May 23rd, 1934. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bertha Lou Trusty and Oris Ulysses May; husband, Marion Keeling; sister, Patricia Lee Naughten; brother, Shelby Gene Cannon; daughter, Amy Lee Keeling; son, Marion David Keeling; and son-in-law, Perry Street. She is survived by brothers, Dale Cannon and wife, Chris; Paul Dean Cannon and wife Linda; daughters Cindy Young and husband, Ronnie; Timbo Young; Liz Street; Laura Johnson; Lindy Long and husband Michael; and daughter-in-law, Karen Keeling; grandchildren Jocelynne Mays; Amanda McVay; Jessica Ramsey and husband Will; Jeremy Young and wife Maria Zuniga; Jason Young; Damon Young and wife Michelle; Jared Young, Josh Street and wife, Gwen; Charles Schneider and wife Emily; and Zach Maxie. She also leaves behind many great-grandchildren and special friends. Lou was special in so many ways. Colossians 3:12 is a fitting portrayal of how she lived her life. “Therefore ………. clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.” She loved her family, friends and pets. Lou was happiest when working in her gardens and flower beds. Everywhere she lived, and to everyone she loved, she brought beauty and offered compassion and understanding.

Remember reading to her and having tea with of course I don’t like tea so I had water she said I was a wimpy Lou I will miss you you are a sweetheart
