Louise Allman

Louise G. Allman 93, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2017, in Waco, Texas. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at the Church of Christ in Moody, with Mr. David Echols officiating. Interment will follow in the Moody Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 18, 2017, at Cole Chapel in Moody.

Mrs. Allman was born May 28, 1923 to Frank and Velma Gipe in Moody, Texas. She was a longtime resident of Moody and a member of the Church of Christ. Louise married the love of her life, Donald D. Allman, Sr. on August 15, 1942. Mrs. Allman worked at Moody ISD as a tax collector and served as a secretary for the superintendent. She enjoyed playing bridge and spending time with her family.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald D. Allman, Sr., in 2002; son, Robert Lee Allman; sisters, Lillie Marie Peters, Sugar Burns, and Sallie Jo Burns.

Mrs. Allman leaves behind her son, Donald D. Allman, Jr. and Tomi Sue Nelson, of Waco; grandchildren, Robin Elizabeth Pooler and husband, Bryan, of Austin, Drew Allman and wife, Maggie, of Denver, Colorado; great-grandchildren, Nathan, Avery, Payton, and Merrick.
