Martha Laurie Fix, age 81, passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, in Temple, Texas. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2025, in Buckhorn Cemetery in Moody, Texas. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Buckhorn Cemetery in Moody, Texas
Martha was born on November 1, 1943, to Clarence Dehart and Bernice Irene (Bynum) in Dallas, Texas. She was a longtime resident of Moody, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Duane Fix.
Survivors include her son, Kevin Fix of Moody, and Keith Fix of Fort Worth; daughters, Melissa Whitaker and husband, Jarrod of Minneapolis Minnesota, Melonie Fix of Moody; 8 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; sisters, Jennifer White of McGregor, and Doris Norrid of Robinson; numerous nieces and nephews.
