Mary Joyce Taylor

Mary Joyce Taylor went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 1, 2025. She was born to Roy Thomas Berrier and Iva Lee Cargill on July 23, 1935. Joyce was an amazing woman, and she lived an extraordinary life. She married Sidney Taylor on September 11, 1953. They shared a wonderful life together and enjoyed many travels, making many life-long friends along the way. Joyce lived her Christian faith through actions and deeds. She loved many things including her Sunday School class, Alvin Extension Club and working on many volunteer projects. She lived a long, happy, joyful life, encouraging others to do the same. Her favorite saying: Bloom Where You are Planted! She was loved deeply by her family, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 7th, 2025, in Eddy Cemetery.

She is survived by her son, Rusty Taylor and wife, Sandra, daughter, Trudy Brandon and husband, Bill, grandsons, Cody Brandon, Clint Brandon, Casey Taylor, and Austin Taylor, great-grandchildren, Kade, Sid, Austin, Shelby, Wimberley and Brooklyn.
