Mildred Louise Bayes

Mildred Louise Blanton Pollard Bayes passed away Sunday, January 1, 2023 in Lubbock, TX. Please change her address From Lubbock Texas to My Father’s House in Heaven. Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 5, 2023 at Cole Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at the funeral home.

Mildred was born in Crawford Texas on December 2, 1928, to Hassie and Jim Blanton. She graduated from Crawford High School in 1946 and married Jimmy Pollard on June 15th 1946, and were married for 43 wonderful years until Jimmy Passed away in 1990. Mildred Married Orville Bayes in 1991. Mildred became a Christian at age 12 at Old Tabernacle Church in Crawford Texas. Mildred Attended Lubbock Bible Church for many years and Recently Highland Baptist Church. Mildred loved the Lord with all her heart until the day she went to be with her Savior, Jesus Christ. Mildred worked at Litton Industries in Lubbock for 19 years.

She is survived by Karla Rothering and Daughter, Jessica Rothering and Grandsons Joey Winn and Christopher Lea, Kendal and Cheri Pollard, and Children, Corey Pollard and Wife Melanie, and children Liam, Aliana, and Keegan, Keith Pollard and Wife Hayle, children Tatum and Austyn, Cody Pollard and Wife Sheena, and Children Miles and Adylyn, Sister, Verna Arp, of McGregor Texas and Dixie Wallace if Gatesville Texas, and Brother Royce Blanton of China Springs Texas, and many nieces and nephews.

Mildred is preceded in Death by her parents Jim and Hassie Blanton, Jimmy Pollard, Daughter Kerry Lassiter, Grandaughter, Jody Winn, Ruth Blanton, Opal Christian, Wilma McQuistan, Ray Blanton, and Earl Blanton
