Mrs. Zimmerman was born October 5, 1922, in Hubbard, Texas, the daughter of the late E.P. and Jessie (Clark) Collins where she attended school. On March 20, 1945, she married Ferrell Otis “Shorty” Zimmerman in Waco. In 1993 he preceded her in death. In 1997 she moved to McGregor from Temple.
Survivors include a son, Kenneth Zimmerman; a daughter Debbie Salter; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
