Robert Otto Hueske

Robert Hueske died quietly in his sleep on December 22, 2015. Bob will be greatly missed as a loving husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, and great-grandfather. His courage and resilience in coping with a lengthy illness served as a powerful statement of his love, humanity, will, strength and faith. He always maintained an inspiring, good humored outlook on life that is reflected throughout his family.

Born in 1937, Bob Hueske graduated from McGregor High School and Sam Houston State University. He served his country as a First Lieutenant in the Second Armored Division of the United States Army. He also served the State of Texas as a thoughtful and compassionate Parole Officer. Since childhood, Bob has been a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in McGregor.

Bob Hueske is survived by his wife Joanne, two sons and a large number of family and friends who count themselves especially blessed by the measure of his love and his approach to life.

A memorial service will be held at Zion Lutheran Church in McGregor, Saturday, December 26, 2015 at 11:00 a.m.
