Sarah Jane Guerra-Warren, 57, of Gatesville, Texas was called home on Thursday, June 26, 2025. She was a loving wife, mother, and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 11, 2025, at St. Eugene Catholic Church in McGregor with Father Albert Ruiz officiating.
Sarah was born February 16, 1968 to Ponciano and Linda Guerra in Luling, Texas. She married Dennis Warren Sr. and together they raised five children. She was known for the warmth, strength, sense of humor and her unwavering love for her family. She touched many lives with her kindness and joyful spirit. She had a special way of making others feel welcome and valued, and that gift created lasting friendships and cherished memories. Above all, Sarah treasured family—offering unconditional love, fierce loyalty, and endless support. A life filled with laughter and love, Sarah leaves behind a legacy of warmth that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents Ponciano and Linda Guerra, brother Daniel Lee Guerra Sr., sisters Lucinda Ann Guerra, and Janet Guerra. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Dennis Lee Warren Sr.; children, Dennis Lee Warren Jr. and partner Mandi Marshall, Eric Van Tut Warren and wife Amanda, Joe-Ponciano Warren, John-David Warren and wife Fallon, Elizabeth Anne Necochea and husband Cameron. Her memory will also be cherished by her beloved grandchildren, Mia Warren, Savannah Warren, Theo Sweet, Ryan Warren, Joe Warren, Melody Warren, Olivia Warren, Everett Beaudin, Lottie Beaudin, and Eloisa Necochea.
Her legacy will live on in the hearts of her many friends, cousins, and extended family, who will remember her vibrant spirit, generous heart, warm smile, and loving nature.
