Steve Guerra

Steve was a resident of McGregor, Texas, for over 30 years. He retired from Trane after 16 years of service. His hobbies included fishing, music, playing guitar, singing, dancing, watching westerns, grilling & entertaining his family & friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Pedro Sr. & Consuelo Guerra. His wife, Margaret Ann Guerra. His daughter, Mary Jane Rubio. His siblings, Manuel Guerra, Sabas Guerra, Rosa Guerra Dominguez, Guadalupe Guerra, Pedro Guerra Jr., Ponciano Guerra, Anita Guerra Perez.

To continue his memory, there are his children, Rose & Greg Cook, Norma Jean & Frank Talamantez, Ruben Guerra, Irma Galvan, Anna & Robert Moya, Yolanda Aleman, and Diana & Duane Morris. 15 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, and numerous nieces & nephews.

A service celebrating his life will be at Cole Funeral Home in McGregor on Friday, March 13, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., with Father Albert Ruiz officiating. Interment will follow in McGregor Cemetery in McGregor, TX.
