Tim lived his life by a few simple rules- especially rule #9: Do the best with what you’ve got and maintain a proper attitude.
Over his 68 years, he was many things to many people. From a fearless bull rider in his younger days to the family’s “rocket scientist”, water skiing instructor, and resident pool whisperer, he approached life with grit, humor, and determination.
His days were filled with the things he loved most- from rowdy rock & roll to grilling the best white wings ever tasted, turkey hunting at sunrise, and evenings spent watching his favorite classics like Gunsmoke, Lonesome Dove, and Walker, Texas Ranger… usually ending right back at Gunsmoke.
Above all else, he was a loyal fan in the stands for his three kids and later the best grandpa to his granddaughters.
His legacy of love, strength, and devotion will live on within the hearts of those he left behind. His wife of 22 years, Roseann Powers, his son Jeramy Brandes and wife Theresa, his daughter Katy Zamora and husband Manny, daughter Kacy Brown and husband Aaron, his granddaughters Rylee and Makenzee Brandes, Kaydence Zamora, Addison Brown, and his sister, Robin Hinson and husband Bill.
Those preceding him were his parents, Max and Ruth Brandes, and his sister, Linda.
