Agnes Young Frye, 91, departed this life on Saturday, July 9, 2011. She was born on January 16, 1920 in Richmond and was a 1937 graduate of John Marshall High School. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Agnes Young; sister, Lucille Stone; and granddaughter, Wendy Frye. She leaves behind to cherish her memory three daughters, Faye Walker, Peggy Pearce (Ed) and Mary Holguin; a son, Richard Frye (Lois); ten grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; and a beloved niece, Holly Stone.
Mrs. Frye proudly served in the U. S. Navy during World War II.
The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday (today) at the Atlee Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 9271 Shady Grove Road, where a funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday.
