

Born on July 24, 1927, in Richmond, Virginia to the late David Higginson Parrish and Ethel Lois Herring Parrish. Ann was a devoted Mother, Wife, Grandmother and Great Grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, John Marshall Williams.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Lois Williams Cumber (Stephen), Janet L. Williams (Rebecca), Lynne Garcia (George); grandchildren, Christopher Cumber (Alysia), Victoria Garcia-Daskalova (Goran), Audrey Garcia Amoroso (Andrew), Joel Cumber (Mariah), Emily Garcia Holmstrom (Isaac); and great grandchildren; Savannah Cumber, Jace Cumber and Asher Cumber.
Ann was a proud graduate of John Marshall High School and went on to pursue a career as an administrative assistant. Her greatest joy and accomplishment in life were her three daughters, and she found immense happiness in the company of her family.
Ann was an avid reader with a deep interest in history. She loved traveling and had a special appreciation for nature. The weather, the moon, and the stars brought her peace and inspiration. She leaves behind a lasting legacy of love, kindness, and strength. Ann touched the lives of many and will be remembered for the warmth and devotion she gave to her family and friends.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at Woody Funeral Home – Atlee Chapel, 9271 Shady Grove Rd., Mechanicsville, VA 23116 with a funeral service to begin at 2 p.m.
