Barbara "Tina" Sage, 85, of Mechanicsville, went to be with the Lord on August 7, 2010. Born in Italy, she came to the U.S. following WW II with her husband Arthur L. Sage who preceded her in death. She was a loving mother and Nonna. She is survived by her children; Jeanette Christiana, Arthur C. Sage, Maria Barbour, John Sage, Tina Lucas, 9 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.
The family will receive friends on Monday, August 9th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm at the Atlee Chapel of Woody funeral Home, Route 301 and Shady Grove Rd. A funeral mass will be held at 11am, on Tuesday, August 10th at Our Lady of Lourdes, 8200 Woodman Road, Richmond, VA 23228. Interment Signal Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Comboni Missionary Sisters, 1307 Lakeside Ave, Richmond, Va. 23228-4710.
