
She was born on August 2, 1944, in Modesto, California. She lived a life defined by the love of her family. She will be remembered for her warm heart, quiet strength, sarcasm, and wit.
She is survived by her beloved husband Richard. They would have celebrated 60 years of marriage on July 30th. Consie is also survived by her children, Kristin Jacoby ( Phill) and Brian Dahl ( Christine), her sister Holly Cool ( Bob) and her brother Eric Hjertberg. She had 5 grandsons, Hunter Irwin, Nick Dahl, Hayden Irwin, Steven Dahl, and Jack Dahl. She was proceeded in death by her parents Frederick Hjertberg and Constance Hjertberg.
Consie spent her career as a teacher and paralegal. She found joy in reading an abundance of books, crosswords, and puzzles. She was a plant lover who had a knack for growing and maintaining various plants over the years and loved to see an avocado seed grow tall. She was well read and held knowledge about a wide range of topics. Consie loved to watch a good crime show or figure skating competition.
Our hearts are broken, but we find comfort in the memories we share. We continue to remember her through recalling funny comments, pictures, and phrases that were distinctly her. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
Per her wishes there will not be a service, so we choose to remember her in our hearts.
