Eveline Ida Stefanakis, 76, of Mechanicsville, died peacefully at home among her loved ones on November 29. Eveline was born May 10, 1935 in Berlin, Germany. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas Constantine Stefanakis , and daughter, Helen Matilda Stefanakis. She is survived by her sons, Dennis N. Stefanakis and Anthony C. Stefanakis; her daughter, Catherine I. Mann; five beloved grandchildren; and other extended family. She will be missed greatly by her family. A private graveside service and celebration of her life will be held Sunday, December 4th at Washington Memorial Park with a private reception following. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Odyssey VistaCare Hospice Foundation. The family would like to thank Odyssey Hospice for the care and comfort they provided.
