GRUBBS, Genevieve Poarch, 84, of Mechanicsville, passed away March 21, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, Allan Grubbs; daughters, Reba G. Martin and Marjorie Allan Grubbs; and son, Kenneth Grubbs. She is survived by her daughter, Joanne G. Moss (Eugene); son-in-law, Marty Martin; grandchildren, Wesley Martin (Julie) and their children, Kennan and Claire, Will Martin (Kristen) and their son, Liam, Wade Martin (Emily), Taylor Moss, and Laura Kate Moss. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 23, at the Atlee Chapel of Woody Funeral Home, Route 301 and Shady Grove Road. Services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, March 24, at the funeral home. Interment Washington Memorial Park.
