Jack Clint Tolbert Sr.

Born in Saltville, VA, he was the son of David A. and Mary Stella (Frye) Tolbert. Jack served in the U.S. Army and the Army Reserves. He was employed by the City of Richmond for 33 years, retiring as General Supervisor of Gas and Water Distribution.

Jack was an active member of Meadowood Church of God, serving as a Greeter. He enjoyed working with wood, gardening, and any outdoor activity.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann, of 62 years, a son, Jack, Jr (Vickie) and daughter, Lisa Tolbert-Puga, five grandchildren, Sarah Heinsman (Brian), Amanda Alling (Brian), Andrew Puga (Dana), Jaclyn Tolbert, and Derek (Amy) Epps, eight great grandchildren, Grady, Silas & Virginia Heinsman, Evelyn & Marilyn Alling, Elijah Epps, Lily & Luke Palmer.

His home going celebration will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2019, at 11:00 AM, Woody's Funeral Home-Atlee Chapel, 9271 Shady Grove Road, Mechanicsville, with interment at Signal Hill Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on March 1, 2019.
