Jo Ann Hart-Tiano

Jo Ann Hart-Tiano (age 70), of Mechanicsville, VA, passed away in the comfort of her home on Tuesday, August 8, 2023. She is the devoted wife of Joseph; daughter of Georgia Lee Marshall; loving mother of Kimberly Clark (Ben); cherished grandmother of Brayden and Seth Clark; sister of Joseph (Anita) Marshall and J.H. (Teresa) Marshall; aunt of Lynsey Hydrusko, Kevin and Matthew Marshall.

She is preceded in death by her father James Harvey Marshall.

Jo Ann graduated from Gloucester High School (class of 1971) and was a 1974 graduate of Johnston-Willis Hospital School of Nursing. She went on to become a compassionate nurse helping others until she retired. In her spare time she enjoyed crafts and could be found crocheting a blanket, sewing clothes or making a new seasonal wreath.

Relatives and friends are invited to Jo Ann’s visitation at Woody Funeral Home-Atlee Chapel, 9271 Shady Grove Rd., Mechanicsville, VA on Thursday, August 24 from 6-8 PM and where a funeral service will be held on Friday, August 25 at 11 AM.

Jo Ann had a love for animals. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to your local animal shelter.
