Dear Paul Family,

Words are indeed hard to find. I very much wish we could have it made it back East for Uncle John's service. In my memory, Uncle John had to be the most positive and fun loving person I ever met! Greatest laugh of all time too. I have been thinking about him and remembering him every day for the past 12 days. A great man who lived a rich and rewarding life. You are much loved Uncle John.

Dearest Paul Family,
I don't know how to put into words the sense of loss I am feeling; almost as if a huge piece of my childhood is broken. When I think of Uncle John, I think of our summers at the Boat House, Grandmom Garrett, Kristin, Kim and Mike all playing with their baby cousin when no one else would. These memories are all associated with Uncle John and I will treasure them forever. I feel his presence every day when I think about him. He will never leave us, as he is a part of each one of us. 
My heart is heavy with the loss of a great man. I miss you, Uncle John.

John was a co worker and friend at Rohm and Haas for many years. What a pleasure it was to know this kind and gentle man. Always had a big smile for everyone. May he rest in peace.

To John's Family, I worked with John for many years at Rohm and Haas.  For a few years our offices were next door.  He had such devotion for Doris and his family.  He was so proud of all of his children!  Please know that I consider it an honor that I knew John and continue to strive to be more of a person like he was. We worked with John for many years at Rohm and Haas.   John was a pleasure to be around and a kind and caring person.  We will have good memories of John.   Our condolences to your family.

Jonathan, his family and I are so sorry to hear of Uncle John's passing. We know he has  gone to be with the Lord and you are all in our thoughts and prayers.

I was very fortunate to be able to spend a lot of time with the Paul Family growing up.  Some favorite memories that I have of Mr. Paul are:
-Seeing Mr. Paul working in the yard or on some project.  Everything was always done to perfection.
-Mr. Paul's sense of humor and the fact that nobody was immune from a little good natured teasing!
-The obvious pride that Mr. Paul had in his children and grandchildren.
-Mr. Paul was a good neighbor and friend who was always willing to lend a helping hand.
-Mr. Paul was a person who definitely had his priorities straight.  Caring for, providing for, and spending time with his family were most important.  He was an excellent role model for us all.

John has passed from this world to be with his god. May his family and friends be comforted knowing he was well respected by those who knew and worked with him. God bless you.

John was a long time and good friend.  Seems we mostly lost contact since leaving R&H. Will continue to think of John in fond memory. May God bless and comfort Doris and all the family.

I worked for John in the Accounting Department in Louisville. He was a good man. Sorry to hear about his passing. God bless his family.

We worked  with John for many years in Louisville.  He was a fine man and a great boss.  We are so sorry for your loss.

John and I worked together at Rohm and Haas. He was also a nearby neighbor of mine. John was always upbeat and positive, and a man of dignity and kindness. There's a beautiful Biblical passage that applies to him: "The upright man walks in his integrity". May the Lord welcome him into the Kingdom of eternal joy, and may God bless and comfort all who love John.

Dear Doris and Family:  My mother, June Davis, asked that I send her condolences upon learning that John recently passed away.  Mom is presently living at Masonic Home, but she has many fond memories of the time you and John lived in Louisville and attended Harvey Browne, and was so saddened to learn of his death.  I, too, send my sympathies to your family.

We were shocked to read about John's death in our Sunday  paper. He will be remembered in our neighborhood as a kind, considerate and loving person. We have missed his presence walking his dogs, since you moved. May GOD BLESS you and your family. We will remember him in our prayers.
