June Faudree White

Born in Richmond, Virginia on January 13, 1933, she was the second daughter of Horace and Helen Faudree. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, husband, Jim White, and sister, Anne Faudree Dobb.

June was a loving and caring daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother. She was a native and longtime resident of southside Richmond, living most of her life in the Swansboro neighborhood. She married Jim White on March 17, 1951. She worked outside the home primarily in banking. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, and cleaning, but her passion was caring for children and pets.

June is survived by, sons, James A White and William R. White; daughter, Kimberly White Spiller (Richard); grandsons, James White, Jason White, Seth White, Troy White and Brian Spiller; granddaughters, Ashley Spiller and Rachel Spiller; great grandsons, Breckan White and William Oaks White; sisters, Joyce Warren, Nancy Burton (Sonny); brother, “Sam” Faudree (Carol) and many nephews and nieces.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, July 17, 2022, at the Atlee Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 9271 Shady Grove Rd., Mechanicsville.

A Graveside Service will be conducted at Greenwood Memorial Gardens 12609 Patterson Avenue Richmond at 1 p.m. on Monday, July 18, 2022.
