Kenneth Kyle Stockman Sr.

A devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Ken’s greatest pride was his family and the life he built with his high school sweetheart and beloved wife of over 60 years, Myrtle Ruth Franklin Stockman.

He is survived by his wife, their two children: Stephanie Stockman (Rebecca Hardin), and Kenneth Kyle Stockman, Jr. (Suzanne Hozier). Ken was a proud grandfather to Madison Stockman “Maddy,’ and grandson Kenneth Kyle Stockman, III “Trey” (Abby Deaton) parents of his two great-grandsons; Oliver Clyde Stockman and Greyson Kyle Stockman of Kansas City, KS. Ken is also survived by two sisters, Sue Stockman Faber (Howard) of Sebastian, FL, and Carola Stockman Taylor of Van Buren, AR.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate his life on Friday, April 25, during visitation hours from 1:00 – 3:00 PM and again from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Woody Funeral Home – Atlee Chapel, 9271 Shady Grove Road, Mechanicsville, VA 23116.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 26, at 11:00 AM at Chamberlayne Heights United Methodist Church, 6100 Chamberlayne Road.

A reception will follow immediately at Woody Funeral Home – Atlee Chapel.
