Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Karen; her sister, Kristin; and her nephew, Kolton. She was preceded in death by her father, Russell M. Pittman Jr. “Rusty”; and her loving grandparents on both sides, Margaret and Leith Talley, and Betty and Russell Pittman Sr.
Kerri found happiness and fun in the simple pleasures of life. She loved animals and cared for dogs, cats, hamsters, and goldfish, delighting in the companionship and comfort they brought. She also loved children of all ages and was always eager to hold the babies, offering warmth and gentleness in the smallest moments.
She had a special knack for puzzles of all sizes, along with word search books, dot-to-dot, and coloring—pastimes that reflected her patience, focus, and quiet determination. Kerri also enjoyed her iPad and playing her Nintendo Switch, and she especially looked forward to the twice-weekly visits from her uncle to play cards. He taught her Skip-Bo, and she loved it.
Kerri’s sense of fun was unmistakable. She adored her three-wheel bike more than anything and tried to ride every day. She also loved getting season passes to Busch Gardens and sometimes King’s Dominion so she could ride the roller coasters as often as possible.
Each year, Kerri looked forward to vacation, and Myrtle Beach held a special place in her heart. She loved to swim and brought bread and popcorn to feed the seagulls along the shore. She also enjoyed visiting Disney World, SeaWorld, and Universal Studios in Florida, where she delighted in the shows and made the most of every ride.
Kerri made friends with everybody. She was a member of the “Friends for Life” club for the handicapped, which she loved to attend, and through it she formed many meaningful friendships. In all things, Kerri enjoyed life to the fullest, and her presence will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.
