She graduated with a Teaching Degree and spent time on a church mission in Belgium and France. Upon returning to the States she taught Junior High English and French in Salt Lake City, Utah. LaMerle was a unique and wonderful women. Loved her quirkiness and we shared the same sense of humor. She was so talented and humble in her accomplishments. She loved the Lord, her family and shared her testimony freely. She was my friend and I will miss her.
Until we meet again LaMerle.

As a fellow artist, I enjoyed knowing LaMerle. She was very kind and generous, always sharing her creative ideas and spirit. It was clear that her heart was with her family and her spiritual beliefs as well as the art that ran through her body. We will keep her with us through our memories of her.
