Larry, my thoughts and prayers to you and your family at this time.

Sam is one of those you recognize as the "real thing" from the moment you first meet him.  A true gentleman. I will miss my weekend bantering with Sam.

Sam was a kind and gentle man with a tremendous sense of humor. He always had a great story to tell. We will truly miss our "mayor".

We will miss the "mayor of Pearson's Island" so very much.  He was one of the first people to greet us after we moved there and was always a smiling, teasing, mischievous pillar of our little Island community... We were so shocked and saddened to hear the news.  We will miss Sam so very much.... Our thoughts and prayers are with you.  Tami and Rick
